Genital Hair Removal
Posted by: | Comments
If you are thinking of removing your genital hair, there are some things that you may want to consider. First, you will need to decide if you want to do shaving or if you just want trim it. Genital hair removal is a matter of personal choice. There are a few things that you need to consider before you decide on this process.
Considered to be painful at times, however it does leave a smooth, stubble free result. One good advantage with genital waxing is that, you can do it on your won at home and it is very affordable and reliable method that will last for a long period of time.
You also need to know that waxing has its disadvantages as well. Studies have shown that this process may affect re-growth. It was also reported that continuous waxing may affect the strength and color of re-grown hair. One disadvantage with genital waxing is that it is painful. The degree of pain depends on who is doing the process and what your capacity with pain is. I recommend that you seek professional help from at least the first few waxes until you gain understanding on what is involved and how to do it.
Genital Shaving
Genital shaving has also its advantage and disadvantage. The most common advantage of shaving is the painless part! It can be done at your home in your own phase and it is very affordable compared to other methods. You can use an electric shaver or if you are feeling brave enough, you could use a razor. Just be careful because using razor requires a steady hand and a gentle touch. This sounds great doesn’t it?
There are also some disadvantages in shaving hair on your genital area. One common disadvantage is the overall result. Removing hair from genital area may leave red spots or bumps and may lead to superficial soreness. If unchecked, rashes due to shaving can turn nasty and it can lead to complications in such delicate area. In addition, the result will last nowhere near as long as the waxing method. After a few days, there will be stubbles showing already.
If you decided to use this procedure, you need to know that the genital area is a very sensitive and delicate area. Creams may sometimes lead to redness and burning sensation if left for too long. Over exposure may lead to superficial skin burns. Creams have its advantages such as a long lasting effect and easy to do at home, using cream as a genital hair removal method is limited.
You can also try electrolysis as this is a permanent hair removal procedure and will prevent hair from re-growing. You must consult experts first because this method is not commonly advised by these people. If the above method doesn’t appeal to you, you can try trimming your genital hair.
Skin Hair Removal – Getting Started

Skin Hair Removal might be an important factor to consider especially for women. I was once a sufferer of the unwanted growth of hair on the chest, and the most embarrassing moment became my stepping stone to research and eliminates the problem immediately.
I researched about the most effective, less cost and less time requirement skin hair removal strategies. And here are my findings:
Waxing Strips, which have two kinds; the hard and strip wax. Both are applied with paper strips and in the same way. It took me an hour or two to finish the skin hair removal strategy. This strategy is definitely effective but the effect is only for a week. It requires you to repeat it in at least once a week. The disadvantage I found to this strategy is it might irritate the sensitive skin. It gave me trouble of having rashes and scratches. It only means that this strategy chooses the right skin it deals to.

Tweezers or Razors
Both methods are definitely effective and you can see it for yourself. Tweezers spent more time than razors. Since this skin hair removal method pulls the hair one by one it will take you two to three hours to finish especially when the hair have grown too much. Razors are more convenient to use because it cuts the hair thoroughly. It will only take you thirty minutes to finish the method. The disadvantages I found to the two methods are the same to waxing strategy those are for temporary effect and need to be maintained with at least once a week. The methods may also give rashes and scratches and sometimes injuries because of the razor blade. The equipments used to these skin hair removal methods need to be checked that they are free from rust to avoid infections.
Threading
This skin hair removal method is fun, effective, time convenient and costs less. They said that it is from India. And I appreciate Indian people because of the great idea they shared. I discovered the method in the internet and tried it in a salon somewhere in France. They used the thread to eliminate the hair and it only takes twenty minutes to finish it. The method looks painful when I found it online but when I tried it, it tickled my skin and it’s amazing. The method is also for temporary effect just like tweezers, razor and waxing method but it did not irritate my skin.
Laser Skin Hair Removal is the best solution I found. I found it when I got sick of trying the temporary skin hair removal methods. I went to my dermatologist and asked for the permanent hair removal and this is what she offered me. The method uses laser and electrolysis to eliminate the hair from its inner roots or the hair follicles. It takes sessions to finish the whole method. And after all the sufferings, TaDa! I finally eliminated the problem. My wonderful dermatologist checks my health conditions first before she did the method. And then no traces, no rashes, no injuries and scars my unwanted skin hair is removed!

When did removing a woman’s leg hair start?
Leg hair removal became more popular, when the trends of fashion dress become shorter. When being totally “hot and sexy” means you need to show off some skin. This started in the turn of the 20th century. During these days the hemlines became skimpier that women soon realized the need to remove leg hair.
Nowadays, removing leg hair has become a habitual stuff for women. From teenagers to women in the late 30’s, all of them consider leg hair removal a NECESSITY. Why? Simply because they want to have smooth and beautiful legs. They take care of their legs using different products, making it more attractive to others.
Feeling good about the way you look can be advantageous. It can improve your personal life, get you a lifetime partner, or even make it possible to excel in your career.
But let’s face the reality; with so many ways to choose from, how will you know which method will give you the best results? Choosing the right method for hair removal is crucial. That’s why I want to help you by giving you some of the best traditional and modern ways of getting rid of leg hair.
Shaving
This is the most commonly used traditional method when it comes to leg hair removal. It is cheaper compared to other methods and can easily be done at home. Shaving is also considered an effective way to exfoliate your skin and shorten the hair. However, regular shaving may also give you skin irritations and skin darkening.
Waxing
Waxing is an “improved version” of a traditional leg hair removal, which is sugaring. The process is quite the same in every way. Putting a thin layer of substance and pulling out the hair using a piece of cloth or paper. Nowadays, there are different products available on the market which you can use for this method.
Leg Waxing can also be done at home or in a beauty spa. Compared to shaving, waxing can definitely give you smoother legs for a longer time. I must admit though, that this method is rather painful.
Cream Depilation
This modern method is the easiest one you can use. If you don’t want to go and bother yourself with a lot of procedures, then this is the best for you. All you need is to buy a depilatory cream and apply it on the area where you want the hair removed and wash it off with water. However, there are some disadvantages you should also consider. Some of the chemicals may cause skin allergies. So if you have a sensitive skin, might as well consult with your physician first.
Laser Treatment
This is the most popular modern method of leg hair removal. I must warn you though, this can be rather costly. However, laser treatments offer a very long lasting result. You can get silky legs within 3-4 sessions. Some people who use this treatment say this will slow down your hair growth. So it might take some time before you get those unwanted leg hair growing again.
Now you know what advantages and disadvantages you can get from particular methods of leg hair removal. So are you going for the traditional way or the modern way? Well, what matters is you should pick the one which you know is best for you.
